How to win a TI; a Guide to Cosmetics.
If you're gonna win a TI, this is how you do it. The best of the best and their cosmetics throughout the years.
The International 5
Times were simple back in TI-5, and this is the only shot of the pro's simplistic sets. Nothing special here. Cheers for Fear with the classy hat though.
The International 6
Once again, kinda hard to get pictures for the one but here it goes.
really see it in this picture, but Y' is using a brilliant combination of the Hood of the Northlight, Roehrin the Pale Stallion, and Robes of the First Light to create a nice combination of gold and blue which looks simplistic but is actually masterfully crafted and put together by a TI winner.
The other three heroes are as good as you would expect from a TI winner. Even though I don't personally like the Mohawk + Golden Bashers look, I do understand that some people like it and it does look pretty cool.
The Axe set is great because he resists the urge to just equip all of Axe's immortals, which he has for nearly every slot, and still looks great.
The Batrider is using probably the best loadout that there is for batrider, or at least at the time.
The International 7
TI-7 had some of the best cosmetics so far, and did the best job showcasing them, though that doesn't say much since it still did pretty poor.
Matumbaman is using the Decay set (a very good set for Necrophos) with the Sullen Harvest staff, which just look amazing together. Nothing less from the grand Matumba.
You can't see this one very well, but Mind Control is doing a great job
making the Dark Seer set work. The golden shoulders match well with the book on his back, which along with the beard makes the character
look like the wise seer that he is.
Nothing too special here, but Earthshaker doesn't have the best cosmetics. This is probably the best that GH could've done.
A pretty good Lich set from Kuroky. Nothing too special, but same as Earthshaker Lich doesn't have the best cosmetics in the world. This is probably as good as it gets, even for a TI-Winner.
An exceptional set from Miracle, which showcases his ability as one of the best carries in the world. The cheap green sword was a bold choice and a statement, which matches perfectly and brilliantly with the arcana. Most players go for the biggest, flashiest, most expensive sword that they can find, but not Miracle. He's a TI WINNER.
But if you wanna win the only TI that matters, this is the set to use;
