Invoker Cosmetics

I think that Invoker has the best loadout potential in the game, but can also have some of the ugliest loadouts possible. Like this one.

.....
Why?
The blue mantle is the most atrocious cosmetic in the game. Or style, rather. This is actually one of my personal favorite cosmetics because it's style can be set to red, white, purple, or blue. All of which can go perfectly with another set. All except for blue.

  Blue is awful because there's literally zero other blue Invoker items, so it doesn't go with anything and clashes with everything. The yellow Super-Saiyan hair is extremely overused, and even though the Sun-strike effect is nice looking, the cosmetic itself only goes well if you're going for a golden theme, which is possible.

.

  The red belt is disgusting, and makes me want to vomit next to the yellow-gold hair and blue  mantle. The black cape is disgusting under the blue mantle (but what isn't) and even though it could go okay with the red belt, that would require a complete do-over.of everything else. And white gauntlets? Why? That just makes it look like you're going out of your way to make your set as ugly as possible.

My only advice to this Invoker player would either be to ditch the mantle and headpiece entirely and go for a more warlock-esque red-and-black feel or to get rid of the belt and mantle, or change the style of the mantle to white, for a more standard loadout. However, it's impossible to salvage this trainwreck of a loadout that someone somehow looked at and said "Yeah, this looks okay." The verdict is: Irredeemably ugly.
Sorry!

           That being said, here's some of my favorite Invoker loadouts, cosmetics, and themes! Most of these will be budget sets. Noone should be expected to fork over the money for a Dark Artistry, and there's no fun in that either. No creativity! Anyways, lets get started.

Purple&White Wizard;

Looking snazzy there Carl! The great thing about this spicy set is how easy it is to recreate, and how versatile it is. Most of these items are very cheap, the most expensive one being the wizard hat (one of my personal favorites), and the beauty of it all is the versatility! Almost every single item in this set can be swapped out for a similar item with a similar color scheme, all while keeping the loadout intact and looking fresh! Simple, yet elegant and mysterious. I would highly recommend this set, as this is actually the set I use ingame!

Now, onto the next one!

Invoker the White;

A much more unusual invoker set, this one uses mostly the same items as the purple and white set, just with the styles set to white! The cape however, you can choose to use the cape of the arsenal magus, or, if you're that hesitant to give Gabe Newell that four cents, or if you just prefer it, you can just use the defualt cape. This set is much more strange and unusual than most Invoker sets out there, but I actually find that it works just fine. It stands out from all the new black-themed Invoker sets (Dark Artistry, Blackguard Magus, etc) and looks quite nice ingame. Once again, it is perfectly okay to swap out the wizard hat if you don't have it, but if you're playing Invoker, why not? I think it looks fabulous, especially for an item under a dollar on the market. It is simple, though, to work it out of the loadout if you don't want to buy it or you just don't like it for some reason.

Gold and Crimson Invoker;

This Invoker set is extremely bright and vibrant, and I think looks great, and while it may not be very versatile, these items are very budget and easy to get. Even though, as I stated previously, the Super-Saiyan hair is extremely overused by basically every Invoker player who doesn't have a Dark Artistry set, i think in this case it goes extremely well with basically every item in the set! You could interpret this set as having an eastern theme, almost looking like a chinese dragon, but that could just be me. It also gives a great excuse to use the immortal for the Sun-Strike effect, while not compromising fashion.

Anyways, those were just a handful of my favorite Invoker loadouts. There's too many great combinations to count, so everyone should just get creative! Throw together whatever you can and see what works. Just don't do what Mr. Blue Mantle did. I'd love to hear what you think about these sets. Is the wizard hat overrated? Tell me what you think in the comments!
